Playa d'en Bossa Nightlife: Hï, Ushuaïa, DC10 and Beach Clubs

· Updated:

Playa d'en Bossa is the island's headliner strip: Ushuaïa and Hï stand directly opposite each other on the main road, SWAG plays hip hop and R&B in the middle of the strip, Playa Soleil turns its beach restaurant into a club on selected nights, and DC10 is a short taxi ride down the Las Salinas road. In DJ Mag's 2026 poll Ushuaïa came third and Hï fourth in the world. Both closed their 2026 seasons on 9 and 10 October and come back in spring 2027.

Ushuaïa and Hï

Both are run by The Night League and they split the day between them. Ushuaïa is the open-air stage inside the Ushuaïa hotel, where most events run from 17:00 to 23:00 for up to 7,866 people, and the club recommends arriving before 19:00; the VIP entrance is on the beach side, and there's a taxi rank next to the venue and a large paid car park. Hï, on the old Space site since 2017, takes over at night with two rooms, the Theatre and the Club Room, and a capacity of 5,633. Doing both on the same day is the classic Playa d'en Bossa plan: cross the road at 23:00 with a second ticket.

DC10, by the airport

DC10 sits at km 1 of the Las Salinas road, at the end of the airport runway near Sant Jordi. It's the island's underground reference: Circoloco on Mondays since 1999 and, in 2026, Solid Grooves on Thursdays. From Playa d'en Bossa a taxi is about €16 (Ibiza Spotlight); the bus to Salinas beach stops just past the club, and from Sant Jordi it's a 15–20 minute walk.

SWAG and Playa Soleil

SWAG is the area's urban music club: hip hop, R&B, rap, trap and reggaeton, open since 2014 next to the Hotel Garbi, with two dancefloors and three VIP areas. It opens every night in summer and hosts the odd weekend party in winter. Playa Soleil is on the sand: a restaurant every day that becomes a club on selected nights, described by Ibiza Spotlight as the modern successor to Bora Bora, the area's old beach bar. In 2026 it had Crême de Crême on Saturdays and Sunwaves on Wednesdays, and its event rules asked for elegant beachwear, not swimwear. Older guides may also send you to Sankeys; it became Octan, and we found no activity there in 2026.

Where to stay

Stay as close to Ushuaïa and Hï as your budget allows if your trip is built around them: walking home beats any taxi queue. Hï is also only a few minutes by taxi from Ibiza Town and the airport, so Ibiza Town works as a base if you want restaurants and the old town too. If your list is mostly [UNVRS], Amnesia and San Antonio's pool parties, look at our San Antonio and Ibiza Town guides instead.
