Ibiza Clubs Age Limit and ID Rules: What the Door Accepts
· Updated:
You must be 18 to get into any Ibiza club, and the big ones check with an original passport or national ID card: photocopies and photos on your phone are refused everywhere, and Hï and Ushuaïa won't accept a driving licence either. A few venues go further: Pikes only lets in over-27s, and Akasha suggests 25+. Here are the rules each club publishes, as of October 2026.
Age and ID, club by club
| Venue | Minimum age | ID accepted (originals only) | Driving licence? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ushuaïa | 18, even with parents | EU: ID card or passport · non-EU: passport | No |
| Hï Ibiza | 18 | Government ID card or passport (VIP: EU ID or passport, non-EU passport) | No (stated for VIP) |
| Amnesia | 18 | National ID card, passport or driving licence | Yes |
| Pacha | 18 (restaurant: no limit before midnight) | Not specified in its FAQ | Not stated |
| Eden | 18 | Passport or government-issued photo ID | Not stated |
| [UNVRS] | 18 (general rule for superclubs) | No published policy found | Not stated |
| O Beach | 18 (adult-only) | Not specified | Not stated |
| Pikes | 27 | Photo ID such as passport or driving licence | Yes |
| Akasha | 18, 25+ suggested | Not specified | Not stated |
“Not stated” means the club's own FAQ doesn't say either way. In that case, bring the document that works everywhere: your passport, or your national ID card if you're an EU citizen.
Which document to carry
The strictest wording comes from the Night League clubs. Ushuaïa asks EU citizens for an ID card or passport and everyone else for a passport, originals only, and says that driving licences “will not be valid under any circumstances”. Hï uses the same wording for its VIP entrance and asks for an original government ID card or passport at the main door. Amnesia is the more flexible one: it takes a national ID card, passport or driving licence, but only the original. If you bought several tickets on one order, Amnesia also asks the buyer to be there with their ID along with every guest's.

Under 18: what you can and can't do
Under-18s can't get into the clubs, full stop. Ushuaïa spells it out: minors are refused even if they're with a parent or legal guardian. In Spain you must be 18 to buy or drink alcohol, and it's an offence for an adult to buy a drink for someone younger. That still leaves a few all-ages options. Ibiza Spotlight points to the Las Dalias garden by day, the Sunset Strip in San Antonio and the streets of Ibiza Town, and Pacha's restaurant has no age limit before midnight. Boat parties and pool clubs aren't among them: O Beach is adult-only, and boat parties like A Day In Paradise and Float Your Boat are 18+.
Pikes: really over-27s only
It's not a myth. Pikes' own FAQ says you need to be over 27 to attend any Pikes event and to carry ID to prove it, and the same applies to dinner in its restaurant, because a dinner booking includes the guestlist for that night's party. It accepts a passport or a driving licence. Entry is free, but only via the online guestlist, which opens two weeks before each event, and being on it doesn't guarantee entry. The door can also refuse anyone in sportswear, flip-flops, swimwear or glitter, and stag and hen groups.

Akasha's 25+ suggestion
Akasha, the club inside Las Dalias, is strictly 18+ but suggests 25+, and its off-season listings warn that large groups of 18 to 24-year-olds may be turned away. If you're in your early twenties, go in a small group and check the night's conditions before buying.
Practical tips for the door
- Carry the original document. Ushuaïa, Hï and Amnesia all say photocopies and photos are refused.
- If you're paying by card at Ushuaïa or Hï, they may ask for ID that matches the name on the card.
- Your ticket doesn't replace your ID: the door checks both.
- Keep your passport safe on a long night. Ibiza Spotlight suggests a small bag you can strap to your body; Ushuaïa and Hï refuse anything bigger than a standard handbag.
Frequently asked questions
What is the age limit for Ibiza clubs?
18 at every club. Pikes is 27+, and Akasha suggests 25+.
Can under-18s go to Ibiza clubs with their parents?
No. Ushuaïa states that minors are refused even with a parent or legal guardian, and Spanish law sets 18 as the drinking age.
Do Ibiza clubs accept a driving licence?
It depends. Amnesia and Pikes accept one; Ushuaïa says driving licences are never valid, and Hï says the same for its VIP entrance. Bring your passport or EU ID card to be safe.
Do I need my passport for Hï Ibiza?
You need an original government ID card or passport. Photocopies and photos aren't accepted.
Is Pikes really over-27s only?
Yes. Pikes' FAQ says you must be over 27 for any Pikes event, with ID to prove it.
