The Biggest Clubs in Ibiza by Capacity

· Updated:

The biggest club in Ibiza is [UNVRS], the old Privilege building in San Rafael, but there is no confirmed capacity for it: published figures range from 10,000 to 20,000 people. Among clubs with a firm, sourced number, Ushuaïa is the largest at 7,866, followed by Hï at 5,633. Below is every figure we could trace, with where it comes from and how old it is, because capacity numbers on Ibiza get copied from site to site for years.

[UNVRS]: why there's no single number

[UNVRS] opened on 30 May 2025 in the building that used to be Ku and then Privilege. Its size is the main thing people talk about, and still nobody agrees on it. Time Out and DJ Mag have used 10,000; a 2024 projection spoke of 15,000; DJ Mag wrote 20,000 in January 2026; and one club directory lists 4,000, probably for a single area. The club doesn't publish a figure on its site, so we don't pick one. What we can say is that it was built on the site Guinness once listed as the world's largest nightclub, and that DJ Mag readers voted it the best club in the world in 2026.

The Privilege Guinness record

The "biggest club in the world" line that still appears in travel guides comes from the 2003 edition of Guinness World Records, which listed Privilege as the world's largest nightclub, with 6,500 m² and room for 10,000 people. Privilege closed after the 2019 season and never reopened; our Privilege post tells the full story from Ku to [UNVRS].

Ushuaïa, Hï, Amnesia and Pacha

Ushuaïa's 7,866 is the biggest firm figure on the island, and it's an open-air space, so it feels different from an indoor club of the same size. Hï's 5,633 is split between two rooms, the Theatre and the Club Room; Space, the club it replaced, was listed at 5,000. Amnesia's figure of about 5,000 is from 2003, so treat it as historical. Pacha is the tricky one: ticket listings say "more than 3,000", while DJ Mag's 2026 profile says 5,000. We use the lower, more widely cited figure and flag the other.

The small ones

At the other end, some of the island's most loved rooms are tiny. Akasha, in Las Dalias near San Carlos, holds about 300 people with the DJ booth in the middle and is open in the off-season. Sundara, in a hotel basement on San Antonio Bay, holds 380. SWAG, the urban music club in Playa d'en Bossa, is listed at about 1,000 (another source says 750). Small doesn't mean easy to get into: smaller rooms sell out faster on big dates.

Does size matter for your night? Bigger rooms mean bigger production and headline names, but also longer queues at the door, the bar and the taxi rank at closing. If you're going to [UNVRS], Ushuaïa or Hï on a big date, buy early and plan the ride home before you go in.
