Underground Ibiza: DC10, Circoloco and Where the Techno Crowd Goes
Ibiza's reputation is built on two very different scenes. One is the confetti-cannon headliner show; the other is the long, loose, music-first party where nobody is looking at the DJ booth through a phone. This guide is about the second one: where it happens, when, and how to do it properly in 2027. All 2026 dates below are for reference; the big clubs are now closed until spring.
DC10: the reference
DC10 sits on the road to Las Salinas, right at the end of the airport runway, and looks nothing like a superclub: low buildings, a terrace and a famously relaxed door, summed up by Ibiza Spotlight as "come as you are". It is one of the pioneers of daytime clubbing and was number 19 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026. Opening hours vary by source (from late afternoon to early morning), and in 2026 tickets were sold on DICE.

Circoloco: Mondays since 1999
Circoloco was founded in 1999 by the Italian promoter Antonio Carbonaro and grew out of DC10's terrace. It is a Monday party, which tells you something about who it's for. The 2026 edition was its 27th season: it opened on Monday 27 April with &ME, Rampa, Dixon, Luciano, Tania Vulcano and Seth Troxler, and closes on Monday 12 October. Ibiza Spotlight's advice is to expect it to be very busy, and that's the point: the crowd knows the music and stays for it.
DC10 isn't only Mondays. In 2026 Solid Grooves held Thursdays from 4 June to 1 October, listed from 18:00 to 06:00, and in peak season the club hosts label takeovers that draw a knowledgeable crowd. Getting there: the Discobus line between San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa stops at DC10 in summer.
A Circoloco Monday, in practice
Think of it as a day out, not a night out. Listed opening hours at DC10 vary between sources, from late afternoon to early morning, so check the time on your ticket. Most people arrive from Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio: in summer the Discobus between the two stops at DC10, and a taxi from Playa d'en Bossa is a short ride. Eat before you go, bring cash and card, and keep your phone charged: the ticket is on it, and in 2026 that ticket came from DICE. The closing on Monday 12 October is the last DC10 date of 2026.
Amnesia: techno on a big scale
Amnesia is the bridge between the underground and the superclubs. It's known for techno, and its Terrace has a glass roof that lets the sunrise in. In 2026, its 50th-anniversary season, Pyramid held Sundays from 14 June to 4 October with names such as Amelie Lens and Jeff Mills, and RESISTANCE ran nine Wednesdays from 22 July to 16 September. Number 16 in DJ Mag's 2026 poll.

Two details explain why Amnesia keeps its underground credibility at that size. The Terrace's glass roof means the sunrise arrives on the dancefloor, and Ibiza Spotlight notes that the crowd often gets a second wind when it does. And its season starts with techno: in 2026 the first party in the building was a Pyramid Special on Friday 24 April, two weeks before the main opening.
The 2026 underground week at a glance
| Day | Party | Club | 2026 run |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Circoloco | DC10 | 27 April – 12 October |
| Tuesday | NOW HERE (Paco Osuna) | Hï Ibiza | From 2 June |
| Wednesday | RESISTANCE | Amnesia | 22 July – 16 September |
| Thursday | Solid Grooves | DC10 | 4 June – 1 October |
| Sunday | Pyramid | Amnesia | 14 June – 4 October |
Nights move between seasons, so use this as a map of how the underground week was built in 2026, not as the 2027 programme. The new season's residencies are usually announced between January and April.
Smaller rooms worth knowing
- Akasha (Las Dalias, San Carlos): a boutique club with deep and melodic house after midnight. Its off-season is the island's best-kept secret: last winter brought Âme live, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Roman Flügel and Axel Boman. Saturdays and Sundays are confirmed from 7 November 2026.
- 528 (Benimussa hills): open-air parties among the pines, open only on some days. Ibiza Spotlight notes that its after-parties are often announced at short notice. Kaluki played there in 2026, and it hosts Halloween on 31 October 2026.
- Eden (San Antonio): a Void Incubus Gold sound system and a reputation as a launchpad for younger DJs.
- Chinois (Ibiza Marina): not underground in looks, but nights like TRIP (14 and 24 October 2026) bring a music-first crowd into a small room.

How to do it right
- Pick one big underground day per trip and build around it: DC10 on a Monday is a full afternoon and night.
- Buy ahead. Circoloco gets very busy, and door prices are higher than online.
- Dress for heat and hours, not for photos.
- Plan the way back: at DC10 you are near Playa d'en Bossa and the airport, not near San Antonio or Ibiza Town.
- Off-season, follow Akasha and 528: that's where the island's underground spends the winter.
