San Antonio Ibiza Nightlife: Clubs, Sunset Strip and Pool Parties

· Updated:

San Antonio's nightlife is built around two clubs in the centre, Eden and Es Paradis, which sit next to each other on Carrer Salvador Espriu, plus the day and sunset scene: O Beach and Ibiza Rocks for pool parties and Café Mambo on the Sunset Strip. Sundara is on the bay, and Pikes and 528 are just outside town. It's the most walkable party base on the island and usually the cheaper one, with the Discobus and club shuttles for the superclubs. Everything here is seasonal; most venues closed between late September and October 2026 and reopen in spring 2027.

The clubs: Eden, Es Paradis and Sundara

Eden and Es Paradis are a few steps apart, which makes an easy two-club night. Eden is the electronic one, run by a Dutch team, with a Void Incubus Gold sound system that Ibiza Spotlight suggests may be the loudest in Europe and a long record as the place where DJs play their first Ibiza dates. Es Paradis is one of the oldest clubs on the island, a tropical room under a glass pyramid, famous for the Fiesta del Agua, when the dancefloor floods: wear swimwear under your clothes, not on its own. In 2026 its week also had a foam party on Thursdays and Puro Reggaeton on Fridays. Sundara, in the basement of the Palm Star hotel at the Cala de Bou end of the bay, is the small one: 380 people, a Funktion One system, classic house, funk and disco, and a reputation for being welcoming to solo travellers. A taxi there from the centre was about €12–15.

By day: O Beach and Ibiza Rocks

San Antonio's afternoons belong to the pool parties. O Beach, on Carrer des Molí, runs from about 13:00 with shows, aerial acts and VIP beds; in 2026 presale tickets had to be inside by 15:00 and there was no re-entry. Ibiza Rocks Hotel turns its pool into a party from about 14:00 to 21:00, with rap, pop, commercial electronic music and live concerts. Both are 18+ and both finish early enough to carry on into the night.

The Sunset Strip

The Sunset Strip is where San Antonio watches the sun go down. Café Mambo has been there since 1994: free entry, open from 10:00 to 03:00 in season and DJs every evening, with only the front row needing a booking. Mint Lounge next door is a cheaper alternative, according to Ibiza Spotlight, whose 2025 budget guide also listed Café Mambo, Café del Mar, Ibiza Rocks Bar and Itaca among San Antonio's free pre-parties. Arrive well before sunset if you want a good spot.

On the edge of town: Pikes and 528

Pikes, the boutique hotel on the outskirts, throws some of the island's most talked-about parties in Freddie's, the small room that was once Freddie Mercury's suite. Entry is by free guest list for over-27s only, with no walk-ins, and Pikes can turn away stag and hen groups. 528 is an open-air venue among the pines in the Benimussa hills that opens only for specific parties; in 2026 its last date was Pikes Presents: Halloween on 31 October. For both, plan a taxi there and back.
