Ibiza Stag and Hen Do Guide: Clubs, Boats and the Door Rules That Matter
· Updated:
For an Ibiza stag or hen do, the formula that works is a pool party by day, a boat at sunset and a big club at night, based in San Antonio or Playa d'en Bossa. The catch is the door: O Beach refuses stag and hen accessories (veils, sashes, crowns, matching T-shirts), fancy dress and inflatables, Pikes can turn away stag and hen groups altogether, and the superclubs ban football shirts. Here's how to plan it so the whole group gets in.
When to go and where to stay
Ibiza Spotlight's group guide says the early and late parts of the season, April to June and then September and October, are the most popular times for stag and hen groups, thanks to cheaper flights and accommodation. For a base, it picks Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio and San Antonio Bay as the liveliest resorts, and Ibiza Town or Figueretas if the group is a bit older and wants culture and clubs without early-morning parties next door. Adults-only hotels and villas are both options; a villa gives you space, but you'll need transport to the clubs.
A three-day plan that works
| Day | Sunset | Night | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Pool party at O Beach or Ibiza Rocks (San Antonio) | Café Mambo on the Sunset Strip | Es Paradis or Eden, a walk away |
| Day 2 | Recovery: beach or a day trip | Boat party from San Antonio or Playa d'en Bossa | Superclub: Hï, [UNVRS], Amnesia or Pacha |
| Day 3 | Ushuaïa from mid-afternoon (open-air show to 23:00) | Still at Ushuaïa | Hï across the road (separate ticket) or a dinner show at Lío |
This is our suggested structure, built on the venues Ibiza Spotlight recommends for groups. Swap nights to match the residencies you want, and remember these venues are seasonal: most run from late April to early October.
Pool parties: great for groups, strict on props
O Beach and Ibiza Rocks are the classic group day out, and Ibiza Spotlight calls their pool parties a fantastic day-to-night out. But O Beach publishes the most specific list on the island, and it reads like a stag-do checklist: no body paint, fancy dress or novelty costumes, no stag or hen accessories such as veils, crowns, sashes or matching T-shirts, no novelty footwear and no props of any kind, inflatables included. Sports team tops are banned too. O Beach is adult-only (18+) and runs from 13:00 until 22:00 or 23:00. Keep the matching shirts for the villa.

The boat
A sunset boat is the easiest group activity there is, and some tickets include club entry. In 2026, Float Your Boat from San Antonio cost €49 and included a night at Es Paradis and a day at O Beach, while Pukka Up sold packages with O Beach and Amnesia. The Playa d'en Bossa boats are open bar and cost more. Be on time: late arrivals don't board and don't get refunded. Our boat party guide has the full comparison.
The clubs: which ones suit groups
For the big night, Ibiza Spotlight's list of “go hard or go home” clubs is [UNVRS], Amnesia, Pacha, Hï, Eden, Es Paradis and Chinois. For a mixed group where not everyone is a clubber, it singles out Ushuaïa: the open-air show starts in the afternoon and ends at 23:00, so everyone can start together and the keen ones can carry on at Hï. For a dinner and a show, it names Lío in the Ibiza marina, Monkey in San Antonio and Teatro Pereyra in Ibiza Town. Lío has the strictest dress code of the lot: elegant, with no shorts, flip-flops, beachwear or men's vests.

Door rules for groups
| Venue | What gets groups turned away |
|---|---|
| O Beach | Costumes, body paint, veils, crowns, sashes, matching T-shirts, novelty shoes, inflatables, sports team tops |
| Pikes | Stag, hen, bachelor and bachelorette parties; under-27s; sportswear, flip-flops, swimwear, glitter |
| Ushuaïa | Sports team jerseys, offensive attire, flip-flops, tank tops, swimwear, bags bigger than a handbag |
| Hï Ibiza | Flags, sports team merch, flip-flops, tank tops, swimwear; long trousers for men in VIP |
| Amnesia | Swimwear, flip-flops, sports team shirts; stricter in VIP |
| Pacha | Beachwear, flip-flops, men's vests, bare torsos; no shorts or sportswear in VIP |
| Lío | Beachwear, shorts, flip-flops, Birkenstocks, bare torsos, men's vests |
All of these come from each venue's own FAQ or website. Two more things for groups: everyone needs their own original ID (Amnesia even asks the person who bought a group's tickets to be at the door with their ID), and San Antonio has banned walking around the streets shirtless, with fines, so the topless walk back from the pool party isn't a good idea.
Group tables: how the minimum spend works
For groups of six or more, a table often makes sense: you get a guaranteed space, fast entry and bottle service. At the big clubs the price works as a minimum spend on drinks. Ushuaïa, for example, includes entry, valet parking and bottle service up to the value of the booking, and you pay the difference if you go over. Pacha's VIP zone works the same way. Our VIP tables guide has the published prices and 2026 market ranges, club by club.
