Ibiza Rocks guide: pool parties, concerts and what to expect
Ibiza Rocks is one of the easiest ways into Ibiza's party scene, especially on a first trip. It's a hotel in San Antonio whose pool becomes an open-air party every afternoon in summer. This guide covers what it is, who it's for and how to plan the day.
A pool party venue, not a club
Ibiza Spotlight is clear: Ibiza Rocks is an open-air pool party venue, not a traditional club. The pool area of the hotel turns into the dancefloor, and the stage set-up changes depending on the day's party. Concerts are also part of the summer programme. The music is rap, pop and commercial electronic, and the crowd is young.

Timings
Daily pool parties usually run from about 14:00 to 21:00, although timings vary by event; some ticket listings gave 16:00 to 23:00 for the 2026 closing. Either way, the party ends in the early evening, which leaves the night free for San Antonio's bars and clubs.
Getting in
- Day tickets: ticket sites listed the 2026 closing from €48.
- Daylife pass: Ibiza Spotlight describes a pass of about €5 that comes back mostly as bar credit.
- Hotel guests: free access to all Ibiza Rocks parties.
The 2026 season
The 2026 season started in late April and ended with the closing party on Wednesday 30 September, according to Magic Ibiza, Welcome to Ibiza and Ticketsibiza. Ibiza Rocks itself also promoted an Anthem closing pool party on 26 September. Either way, the pool parties are over until 2027.
Who Ibiza Rocks suits
Ibiza Rocks suits younger visitors, groups of friends on their first Ibiza trip, and anyone who wants a party in daylight with music they can sing along to. If you want house music by a pool with a bigger production, O Beach is nearby; if you want underground electronic music, look at DC10 or Amnesia instead.
Quick tips
- Book the popular parties in advance.
- Check the start time of your party; it changes by event.
- Bring sun protection, water and photo ID.
- If you're a group staying several days, compare the price of staying at the hotel, since guests get into every party.
- Plan your evening: the Sunset Strip is close by for the sunset after the pool closes.
What a typical day looks like
The party starts in the early afternoon around the hotel pool. Hotel guests are already there; day visitors arrive with their tickets or passes. The stage set-up depends on the day's party, and the music sticks to rap, pop and commercial dance, the kind of tracks people sing along to. The party winds down in the early evening, and most people head straight out for sunset and dinner in San Antonio before the night begins.
Ibiza Rocks or O Beach?
Both are afternoon pool parties in San Antonio, but they're different days out. Ibiza Rocks is a hotel party aimed at younger visitors, with rap, pop and commercial electronic music and concerts. O Beach is a day club with a bigger production, VIP beds, shows and a house and dance soundtrack. Many people on a week-long trip try both.
Looking ahead to 2027
The 2027 programme will be announced in spring, with the season expected to start again in late April. We'll update our Ibiza Rocks page with the dates as soon as they're confirmed.
If you're only in San Antonio for a couple of days, an afternoon at Ibiza Rocks followed by sunset on the Sunset Strip is an easy, low-planning way to see what the town is about, before deciding where to spend the night.
